I tried vaseline with salt mixed in. Works for like 1 day, then rain washes the salt away easily leaving the vaseline which doesn't bother them at all. Tried slug traps and most just slither out. Also hate the slimy mess in the morning. Think im defeated, 3 months of this battle and they win. Theyve evolved to not give a sh*t to most things.

:) Only solution is an electric fence (if you have a raised bed garden), with a bit of care it is 100% effective. I have a bunch of videos related to that on my channel. Don't give up, they are slugs!

I appreciate how you not only illustrated corner cabinets but took the time to show the dovetails, corners and the slide supports. I'm going to attempt to draw it, build a model the see if I am capable of doing this for our kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing idea and build.

@@BobKelland I tried them last night, and they really dislike them; I have made a bleach mist spray to use before sleep, which hopefully will also degrade their trails as they likely follow each other. They seemed to dislike all spices when I wafted them near them, but I'm hoping black pepper will be more resilient in terms of staying power. It also occurs to me that moth balls might be pretty good in a bad situation as they last a long time.
